Malvern

Malvern is a quiet town located in Chester County, originating
back to the 17th century when Welsh immigrants came and
settled the land. Starting as train town with a strong history of
local business, Malvern grew quickly as the junction of 3 major
rail lines: The Philadelphia, Columbia, and West Chester rail road.
The Borough is 1.3 square miles and has a population of
approximately 3,000. Malvern has experienced significant growth
over the past few years and continues to see tremendous
revitalization in both the residential and commercial districts.
The town itself is a mix of all sorts of residential styles, cultural,
civic and religious framework. Home to the Paoli battlefield where on September 20, 1777 the Paoli massacre led by General Anthony Wayne took place. The town is not just a wonderful place to live, but is rich in history as well.
Incorporated on August 13, 1889 it is now home to many large companies that have moved to the area and have made Malvern their home. Such companies as The Vanguard group, Cerner, Ricoh, and Siemens. With the businesses came the people, as they moved to the area to create the wonderful town we know today.
